The first time we heard about Twisters was when my daughter Alexandra was invited to a birthday party at Boca Twisters, and had so much fun there that she begged us to enroll her in one of their classes.
She went once a week for an hour a couple of months, until she was asked to try out for team.
Even though I thought that she was already too old to start doing gymnastics competitively because she was already ten years old at that time and until five months ago never had done gymnastics before in her life, I wanted to be supportive and let her try out.
Alexandra became part of the team in September 2009, and has loved every second of it ( okay, maybe the conditioning is not her favorite part......)since then. She has made huge progress, and she loves the competitions!
She even decided that we would not go to Europe this summer ( we usually go for at least 7 weeks in the summer to visit family and friends) so she can spend that time working out in the gym!
Alexandra's progress would not have been possible without the support and encouragement she has been receiving from Twisters' wonderful coaches. They are loving and caring, and always pushing her to do her best!
We could not be happier with our Twisters experience!
A big Thank You to all the dedicated coaches at Twisters! We love you guys!

My daughter spoke at length about how much she loves being at Twisters. I can see such a change in her: more confident both in her gymnastics and in herself, and definitely more joyful. I can tell you that Maren certainly is ?enjoying the journey? at Twisters, and for that, we are so thankful.

I just wanted to tell you what a positive experience my daughter has had at Twisters over the past 18 months. I have been consistently impressed with the program and coaches and the way these young girls are encouraged without being driven too hard. I am especially pleased with the overwhelmingly positive instruction and encouragement given to the girls at meets - it is really lovely to watch!

I can't say enough how nice it is to hear about communication and to see it all being practiced.
We came to Twisters from our first gym where parent interaction wasn't encouraged, and a second gym where it wasn't practiced.
We have seen a major change in our daughter's attitude and happiness and she says she "loves the new gym". She has been making lots of new friends at Twisters and starting to connect. She's been flipping around the house again and the level 4 routine is seen going out the door to school. We are ALL looking forward to a great year!!

I moved here a year ago from Connecticut. I was looking for a gymnastic that would feel family oriented and extremely helpful. After two tries with other gymnastics. I found Twister and I must say that I feel that I have made the right choice for my daughter. She looks forward to her days in gymnastics and loves her instructor. I am informed on how she is doing and if I have any questions I always have someone willing to assist me.

My daughter, Sara, started at Twisters almost 11 years ago. She was 4 years old, full of energy, and hadn't an ounce of fear. Over the years Sara's been priveledged to have worked with some of the finest coaches in Florida and, at 15, is now ready to compete level 10 this upcoming season. Through it all, Sara has made many life long friends and traveled quite a bit. Of course there are always rough patches here and there but she has learned to work through them and never give up. In the end, the rewards are amazing.

When you first look into gymnastics they give you the old sales pitch about how it helps kids develop good work habits, be a better student in school, and learn self discipline. Well, I can honestly say they are absolutely right. Sara's time at Twisters has helped her develop into one of the most determined, hardest working (except when it comes to doing laundry), self confident teenagers I know. The part I like best is that she isn't "hanging out" after school and getting into trouble and, with as much time as she spends in the gym, she doesn't have time for boys!!!

The high caliber of Twister's professional staff and family atmosphere has made my daughter achieve her goals & establish friendships that will follow her the rest of her life.
